A White House Coronavirus Task Force report for Florida recommended stricter measures for stopping the virus including mask wearing at all times in public, increased physical distancing by reducing capacity or closing indoor spaces at restaurants and bars and limiting gatherings outside of immediate households.

look at the mayors/governors that have a ton a law suits on them due to masks/lockdowns etc. People will not stand for more unconstitutional mandates.

some government tools feel that POTUS has carte blanche on his rulings... IN FACT his powers are limited by the Constitution.

Facts First: There appears to be no legal authority that would allow a US president to enact a nationwide mask mandate. There are exceptions where the executive's authority could allow for such a mandate, such as on federal property, though a nationwide rule would almost certainly be challenged in court.
