Theories are meant to be disproven. That's the way adults discuss things. I wasn't discrediting the fact that currently Africa is experiencing a lull in covid cases. I was just offering a possible explanation.
In the actual AP article the experts also offer possible reasons for the current lull.
The other AP article doesn't prove or disprove anything, it's just more information.
