If President Trump and the Republican Senate fill RGB's seat before the election with a judge of their choice and then loose the election in November, President Biden will simply add more judges to the Supreme Court to restore the proper balance of liberal vs conservative values in the country.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: The one thing Democrats can do to stop Trump from replacing her may be court-packing - Vox

President Trump fears loosing the election as he deeply worries that he will face many criminal charges once he is out of office. He likely expects that by installing another Supreme Court Justice that is sympathetic to him he can evade conviction.

This is why democrats are dangerous. If things don't go their way, they think they can burn the system down by putting more judges on the court to achieve "proper" balance. By the way, there's no such thing as proper balance and dems would give 2-shits about proper balance if they could have a majority in their favor.

They're even talking about making D.C. and Puerto Rico a state so they can have more senators in Congress.

Out of all the judges on the Supreme Court, her name seemed to be the most iconic (at least in my lifetime).

Ginsburg leaving the court or passing away was and always has been a terrifying thought for democrats during the Trump administration.
          They are indeed panicking now.
Support for their party is declining by the day.
They decided to put a half-dead horse in the presidential race.
Their VP pick didn’t boost their support one iota.
Their stance on the violent protests (riots) showed their true colors and ultimately led to more waning support of the party.
And now they are completely distraught (and frankly, FREAKING OUT) over the fact that Trump may get to install his THIRD judge to the SCOTUS.

I do agree with CopierAddict in the sense that I don’t believe any of the judges in the SCOTUS should have a liberal or conservative bias. They should be right down the middle.
I'm curious. You say that you believe judges should be right down the middle. That sounds good but what does it mean in practical terms?

What is right down the middle on abortion?

          On gun rights?

Those are the big 2 that are frequently discussed.

I'm not looking for a judge that is right down the middle. Mainly because I don't know what that means and I'm not sure it has a meaning that we can define. I'm more interested in judges making a ruling on a case based on their understanding of the constitution as it was written.

Look at the thread "just how crazy is trump" and you will see the few Dems on this forum. They are the only ones that respond in that thread. Many on this forum agree with me they are probably the same person talking to themselves to keep thread on first page, how sick is that!

Ha-ha they really think it bothers people to keep Trump threads on first page. NO ONE cares and no one reads their rhetoric. It actually keeps Trump's name out front and will make more vote for him.

No worries they should go away and crawl back under a rock after Nov 3rd when Trump wins. Any normal person would not be able to stay on a forum after 4 years of bashing the president. But remember we are talking about Dem's and we all know they aren't normal.

There is no need to "stack" the Supreme Court if the Republicans follow there own so called "Biden rule" where a Supreme Court Justice cannot be appointed in the last year of any Presidency.

President Barack Obama had the opportunity — or should have — to fill Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat in 2016 and give liberals a majority on the Supreme Court for the first time since the Nixon administration. But he didn’t get that opportunity. Instead, Republicans blocked him under a new stricture they invented, audaciously named the “Biden rule,” which decreed that no Supreme Court vacancy that arises in the final year of a president’s term may be filled.

The Biden rule got its name from an exaggerated reading of a 1992 speech by then-Sen. Joe Biden, where the future Democratic presidential nominee argued that then-President George H.W. Bush “should consider following the practice of a majority of his predecessors and not — and not — name a nominee until after the November election is completed” if a vacancy arose on the Supreme Court.

Hypocrite Republican Senate Majority Leader McConnell has already said he will break that rule.

Hillary Clinton said that Trump voters are deplorables. What do you think about that?

What is this Biden rule that you speak of? Biden himself said that Judge Garland should receive a vote in the Senate and that was in an election year. So, we're following the Biden rule.

An unfortunate slip of the tongue from four years ago and definitely a mistake which she apologized for the next day.

Hilary Clinton is not running for office in 2020.

I do not live in the past nor dwell upon past mistakes. I know lots of people who do.

I flush yesterday every new day.

The Biden rule was created by the Republicans to justify not allowing President Obama to appoint his choice Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.

Allow me to correct you if I may. The Biden rule wasn't "created" by republicans. They cited the rule that Biden set in 1992 as justification. Obviously, Biden didn't follow his own rule.
