Others have called it a betrayal of our allies.

Q Do you trust the Taliban, Mr. President? Do you trust the Taliban, sir?
THE PRESIDENT: Is that a serious question?
Q It is absolutely a serious question. Do you trust the Taliban?
THE PRESIDENT: No, I do not.
But now he trusts them enough to give them a kill list of americas/ greencard holders/ afghans/ allies.OmertÃComment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Biden was trying to paint the narrative of a successful rescue mission but that has now gone with the killing of 12 Marines by ISIS. This is the next big story that Biden will have to deal with. Personally, I don't think Biden can recover.
Americans likely to be left behind in Afghanistan after Kabul bombings: source
FIRST ON FOX: A source briefed on the situation in Kabul told Fox News that some Americans stranded in Afghanistan will likely be left behind after Thursday's bombings.
The source told Fox News that "hundreds" of ISIS-K fighters remain in the vicinity of the Kabul airport and that the attacks are "likely to continue."
"Military continues to retrograde and depart [the] airport," the source told Fox News. "Almost a certainty that Americans will be left behind."

And so it begins from the liberal media. There's no saving Joe.
CBS News on Kabul attacks: 'Worst day of the Biden presidency'
CBS's Norah O'Donnell and Nancy Cordes said Thursday marked "the worst day of the Biden presidency" following the deaths of 12 U.S. servicemembers in a suicide bombing outside Afghanistan's Kabul airport.
Thursday's bloodshed marked the deadliest day for U.S. servicemembers in Afghanistan since August 2011.
"Nancy, I think it is fair to say this is the worst day of the Biden presidency," O'Donnell told Cordes, CBS's Chief White House Correspondent.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

So, what? You compared biden with the best pres? Seems odd to make a comparison between two people in the middle of the pack. But if you want to use that comparison, so be it.Comment

I really don't feel like arguing with you. Like I said, you wedged Trump into the conversation as you have a habit of doing. It's your obsession. Don't try to blame it on me.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
... you seem to think Afghanistan is a normal country. For the USA, the local military commanders have to deal with the Taliban who view ISIS-K as their common sworn enemies.
The USA can only control a small area around Kabul airport.
I would not be surprised at some time soon the US will launch a drone attack on ISIS but on who, when, where without local intel.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Biden was just asked in his presser why he relied on the Taiban to secure the perimeter of the airport. Blaming this on Trump makes no sense. This was Joe's decision and it got Marines killed. Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
President Biden revealed Thursday that he has ordered military commanders “to develop operational plans to strike ISIS-K assets, leadership and facilities.”
“We will respond with force and precision in our time, in a place we choose in a manner of our choosing,” Biden said, declining to give specifics on timing.
“These ISIS terrorists will not win. We will rescue the Americans. We will get our Afghan allies out. And our mission will go on,” the President said. “America will not be intimidated.”Comment
