Didn't have to use a rubber rat. Had a customer call and complain there was a funny spot on the copies when she used her mita dc 1435. I got there and made a test copy and sure enought there was a spot on the copy. A mouse sized and shaped image. Seems a mosue crawled into the machine at night and got fried when ir stepped and got caught on the transfer sep corona wires. Customer turned on the machien and made a copy and fried the mouse to the drum of the machime.

Our copier is jamming every time we try to put tortilla's through the bypass.
Q: Why are you putting tortilla's in the machine?
We are printing artwork on them for the arts festival.

You really cant make this stuff up....

Yes, it's called the competitors copier - it's always broke.

I am more of the relaxed sort who does not worry about small details. My wife does manual labor and can instal a facuet or thermostat, as she will tell you she has done in the past, and I am sure if she tried, she could be a tech if she wanted, but then I would have to leave her or kill her or something. After working it all day, I would not want to come home and listen to her bitching about her bad copier day or worse yet, her telling me how to fix a copier and being right about it.

Sorry, no. Techs don't carry toner.

We just delivered a new colour copier, and while I was installing the printer / scanner I see the head of the accounting office looking at the screen.

-'Oh no, this can't be right, you'll have to take it back!'
                    -'Why, what's wrong?'
-'It doesn't have a green toner, how will it print in green if it doesn't have a green toner!'
                    -'...'

These are 2 different sides of the branch, I've done both, heck, I have more experience in IT, and when I was doing copier support at a certain company,I wasn't allowed to even make recomendations even though what I was going to say or ended up saying, the Propeller Heads ended up saying the same thing LOL But besides that, You help him on IT related issues, He might give you Actual copier issues, but if you both were in the same side, that's a totally different matter. :-) I'm Glad my wife is a Pre-school teacher, and a good one at that too :-)
