Re: Amusing Display Messages
Our call desk system is good for funny messages. It handles machines and accessories on a parent/child basis. The machine is the parent, and finishers etc. are all children of the parent. When you add a machine to contract, a dialogue pops up and asks "would you like to create children".

Re: Amusing Display Messages
One of my favorites. I laugh ever time I see it:
"Please wait for a while ... "
I imagine a man with a long beard watching and waiting ... and waiting ... and the beard get longer, and longer ...

=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Amusing Display Messages
I read that thread. Not to go off topic but finishers are typically outsourced and not made by the manufacturer. And some finishers definitely have a staple waste box. The staples are super long and get snipped to size depending on how many sheets it's cinching.Comment

Re: Amusing Display Messages
If you've been around a while you may fondly remember
Ants with picnic food marching across Minolta screens
The whale slowly surfacing on the big Konica 6090
The space shuttle goingup on another big konica (maybe 7490)
I also loved some of the test charts around back in the day..Comment
