    Retirement has come

Well after a long career in the copier industry I finally have retired. I still love to dig in to these machines but eyes are going, back is shot and when I kneel down I really have a hard time standing back up. Time to let go me thinks. Love this site and the all the members. I will still be reading and lurking here as I find it so interesting. Thank you all who have assisted me through out the years.
    Best Regards,
    Larry

I used to have customers ask me how I could kneel down like I did. My answer was that kneeling down was not the problem, Standing back was. After 5 years of being retired, they both are.

Good retirement and may the force be with you.
I'm happy for you and your family.
Get back here as many as you wish as I think you are attracted by the copier force.

I hear you. I am way past retirement age and getting back up was becoming awkward to say the least. When the customers were kind of snickering as I stood up was one thing and one time recently I was trying to stand up and one of the office girls comes running over and said "Can I Help you get up?" That pretty much corked the bottle for me. Only good thing about that was she was a stunner.😀😀

I'm having the same problem - very bad arthritic flare up in left knee - 40+ years of kneeling are taking their toll....been home most of the last 2 weeks, had other "techs" doing my calls, been whatsapping me when they got on site - it's great fixing machines without leaving your front room 🤣
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...
