This isn't actually accurate. The only reason liberal countries have social programs is they don't properly fund their military and rely on the USA. You know that better than anyone.

I see no reason why not have both and take the extra six grand to enhance national defense. Americans could cut their health care costs in half AND avoid the possibility of anyone going bankrupt due to medical debt. The Consumer Bankruptcy Project (CBP) estimates that about 530,000 medical bankruptcies occur annually. Imagine a Country that cares about its citizens.

Okay, how about Ukraine? Ukraine has a system that aims for universal healthcare, with all citizens and permanent residents constitutionally guaranteed free and effective healthcare. The Program of Medical Guarantees ensures that all citizens can access essential health services while strengthening protection against financial burden. I can't think of anyone more bad ass than the Ukrainians.
