It's pretty ironic that a bottling company that sells carbonated drinks is at the same time trying to reduce its "carbon footprint". What's next, carbon-neutral Coke?

Were they not be sued for deceptive advertising? It's estimated that they are responsible for 2.9 BILLION tons of plastic pollution per year...for many years.

Years ago beverage companies used to easily recycled cardboard/pasteboard cartons to put their six packs in. Those cartons were easily recycled along with all other paper products. Also before the introduction of the "No Deposit. No Return" bottles were used to return the empty bottles to a reseller. The cartons, unless overly stained or damaged, were actually reused by the bottling companies. The plastic rings they use now are a hazard to fish, wildlife and domestic animals. Some iced teas bottlers still use recyclable cartons.
