No he doesn't. All the big 3 US auto makers manufacture their own as do the Japanese manufactures. In fact they have been making hybrids and all electric for over 20 years. "In the late 1990s, a handful of all-electric vehicles were introduced, the GM EV1 and Toyota RAV 4 EV being two examples. These all-electric vehicles failed to attract widespread interest and were soon dropped from production. The maker of the iconic stainless steel sports car with gull wing doors released a teaser trailer previewing its coming EV on Wednesday.
