Trudeau had a recent revelation in response to some people asking him to spend more government money. Trudeau said, and I quote: "every time you spend more money that the government does not have, it causes inflation to go up exactly that amount."

Why didn't I think of that? Oh, I did. copier addict, your thoughts?

Hmmmmm. I would say that if this were true, there would always be runaway inflation as governments are always spending money they don't have. Do you agree?

Son, I encourage you to study and learn. There's no shame in being ignorant. But there is shame in refusing to learn.

This is from the International Monetary Fund.

            What creates inflation?

Long-lasting episodes of high inflation are often the result of lax monetary policy. If the money supply grows too big relative to the size of an economy, the unit value of the currency diminishes; in other words, its purchasing power falls and prices rise. This relationship between the money supply and the size of the economy is called the quantity theory of money and is one of the oldest hypotheses in economics.

I've never claimed government spending wasn't a contributing factor to increased inflation, Skippy. Unlike you and your black or white conservative brain, I understand there are many things that contribute to the inflation rate. But it is fun watching you become blindly emotional about this. Lol

always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon. He doesn't say it's a contributing factor. The problem with you is that your mind is shut. Closed for business.

Poor Skippy and his black or white conservative brain.

Causes of inflation include an increase in demand that outpaces supply and an increase in costs for producers. We cover all you need to know.

You already "inferred" that Trudeau doesn't understand inflation. Now you're saying you know more than Milton Friedman. When it came to masks, you didn't ask any questions. Very curious that now experts don't mean anything to you.

                              Trudeau is a Putz.

I simply posted an article that shows inflation is more complicated than your black or white conservative brain is able to understand.

What did both Trudeau and Biden do around the time that inflation went nuts? Oh, they both spent massive amounts of government money. The facts speak for themselves. Carry on defending liberals from blame. That's what you do.
