We have a legal free trade deal, CAMUS, that covers over 80% of trade between Canada and the US. The rest is products other countries need just as much as the US, so as I stated before. But the best thing that could happen to it's people would be the collapse the current status quo. So much of what makes parts of this geography unique would not be affected by a change in power.
