We have a customer that does accounting in her home. She has a Ld016, and about 6 huge house cats. I had a call for document feeder jamming. One of the cats was on top of the adf. I lifted the cats rear up, put some papers in and they fed. i told the lady that her problem was that she must have been putting the documents on top of the cat instead of under it. She was amused, however the cat was not when I moved him to an Epson printer while I changed rollers.

I read where some manufactures (auto, & maybe others) started using soy based materials for wiring insulation.

That was a well thought out idea.

Also 2 cats that seem to want their share of attention just when you've set those 1/2 dozen screws down on the counter and they are up and kicking things around. Every call is 30 min of removing animal hair and dander. And the owner is no help, she just sits there and marvels about how wonderful her animals are. When you leave, it's the same obstacle course of dogs and cats, and another 10 min of removing hair from every orifice and clothes. At least they aren't barking the entire time, that would drive me nuts. Emujo
I think it's quite rude to have animals in an office and expect everyone to just adjust to them. I don't hesitate to let the animal know that I'm not their friend. If I could refuse to go to those calls, I would.
