I don't know if any Canon IRs still use the huge black toner bottle with the domed orange cap, but if they do, BEWARE! I was at a satellite of the mothership helping set up some of those machines, and as a Lanier (Ricoh) tech I didn't know how that cap came off. So I gave it a good tug. The cap came off, but that gray piece broke off too, and about a third of that bottle spilled on the tech area floor. D'oh. Those caps screw off, me dummy.
Later, while I was on my way home on a Friday afternoon, I got a call that a place had spilled some toner. It turned out that they had spilled one of those bottles. Entirely. I was there until around 6:00 PM and had to empty my vacuum filter three times while cleaning that up.
