Nope, my escort got me a trashcan full of water and a case of paper towels and watched me clean for over 2 hours. That was maybe 13 or 14 years ago and you can still see toner traces in the ceiling tiles of that room.

They didn't have an NCO to tell a SPC to find some PVTs to clean it up for you?

Nope, no extra labor standing around in the command group. I am not shy about using the "help" to move machines for me. One of my best was a move ticket to move a Minolta Di520 to another building at an SF training facility. I drove out there and the Master Sargent was happy to see me. He needed it moved now. I was counting on that. I told him the moving truck was in the shop and it might be a couple of weeks, unless.....maybe you have some students that could assist. Within minutes I had about 20 young guys, each with 1 hand under the bottom of the machine, lift and then double time the 600 pound monster across the compound. Sure wish I would have had a phone camera back then, it was a site to behold.

I had a moment like that. I was delivering a bizhub C360 and it had to go up a metal stairway ... it was the only way. I had no stair climber or any other mechanical assist, so I found the foreman. I asked him if he had someone who could help me carry this copier up some stairs. I can carry my half, but it will be less pleasant for guy below. He said "I have just the guy for you."

About 10 minutes later a mountain of a man walks up, at least a foot taller than me and twice my weight.

It was no problem getting that bizhub up the stairs. At one point I asked the gentlemen to please let my feet touch the stairs. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

For what it is worth, I've only had a tiny bit of exposure to the SF. But it was enough that I found them to be very different than the adequate forces I am familiar with, so that is unlikely.
I may have personally done something like this once or twice back in the day though.
I don't like being a jerk even a little bit, but I can be one if I'm forced to.

OK, getting this thread back on track.

Found this today on a Konica Minolta bizhub 363 PC-409 large capacity feed tray. Code C0-210, shift malfunction. Hmm, wonder why. Could it maybe be the fact several sheets were jammed under the lift plate? If it wasn't for the bone-headed things customers do, we wouldn't have nearly as many service calls to do.

We had a customer that thought the entire tray was just for storage and put wrapped paper on BOTH sides and then called saying it won't feed out of bottom tray. Ignorance is bliss as they say.

I figure the above is up there with office staff using the computer CD carriage/tray as a coffee cup holder.
I believe CD coffee cup holder episode went viral on the internet in it's day.

I can already picture the control panel menu with the usual on/off, size keys with the "control/alt/delete" keys beside it, and constantly being promptd to upgrade to Keurig/Windows 10! Only Windows could make coffee complicted, not too mention the anti virus needed for each cup!
