    DF629 front to back adjustment

Hi, I have a brand new DF629 installed on a brand new C258, the copies on the glass are fine and square but through the ADF the copies are moving up the page by about 3-4mm and leave a dark shadow line at the bottom of the image. It is not skewing, how do i adjust the front to back scan image on the ADF, is it through the service mode (can't see it)? or is it a manual adjustment? Many thanks

Why would you post a problem in the newbie forum? I would tell you which technical forum to use had you included the make of the machine as many manufacturers use the same or similar models. Post in the correct technical forum.

      Welcome!

I believe that the manual covers this issue. Have a peek. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Going forward i feel as though you have built up my confidence to post again, in the correct technical forum.

P.S. It was a Konica Minolta make of machine.
