    Database Errors

There are a few threads I would have liked to respond to, but I haven't been as fortunate as some of you in posting. I'll keep watching, for when Copytechnet is working properly again. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's possible that the administrator "Aneurysm" cannot access his account to rectify the problem (if indeed the problem is hacking. It could be he is out of town (like many people) for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday He is trying to fix the problem but it is much bigger (a problem with vBulletin software) than he could possibly anticipate etc.

My guess is the messing up is self accomplished, update or plugin went bad. Seen several times on this forum. Admin will always have access to the database/files through the webhotel support. Hope it will be sorted out soon, keep up the good work admin

I find it a little odd that admin's profile indicates he has not been logged on in 6 days. Unless of course most of the administrative duties do not require one actually logging onto the board.

I really hope that I'm wrong, but this may be the dead knell of Copytechnet. I've participated in 6 other forums over the years ... all of which are now gone.

My suggestion is that you might update your addressbook of members while you still can. =^..^=

I just hope they(Admins) are healthy and at light side of 'The Force'.
Otherwise you are absolutely right, they better fix this inconvenience or will loose their major Contributor.

Thanks for that! I thought they kicked me and Phil off! No big deal for me. I am just waiting for a service call which I doubt I will get except for emergency on day before Thanksgiving. I was able to respond with your help to a post.

I'll be working on it over the long weekend, not sure what the heck is going on, If tried the usual database clean-up which is getting hung on some bad data so if I can't get it working reliably soon I will be bringing in some "professional services", AKA paid support to work on the database. I guess after 610k post it's due for some upkeep.

                      Wish me (us) luck
