    The Emporer has no clothes

"Used to describe a situation in which the general population is unwilling to recognize or admit the obvious shortcomings, issues, or flaws in a ....."

Now the reason I left that sentence open and that it's posted in "Business Talk" is because I am speaking of this in the workplace. The way you see things being done internally or at a client.

It never ceases to amaze me how much effort goes into supporting a broken system 'because we've always done it that way'.

Especially when fixing it exposes someone's weakness in performance or risks their importance to the system.

When it's a client, and our business makes us the 'man in the middle' (or the simpleton as the story goes), too often the Emperor goes on happily buck @ss naked and we are left shaking our heads.

Let me slaughter a phrase by saying:

'To those about to decry, I salute you'
"Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn" - Benjamin Franklin

A lot of folks around here don't know what reading books is, for the rest tell us 😂
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

I get the feeling that you have more to say, but enough tact not to. Feel free to nibble away at the margins a little more. I'm intrigued. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
