[Misc] Removing dot from OPC Drum

    Hi Comrades !

I have a black dot on the OPC drum of iRAC7055.

The drum is almost new. I tried to remove it with a cloth with water and dry cloth but nothing.

I was afraid to use alcohol or other stuff.

    Ideas ????

    Merry Christmas to all !

As long as you don't scrub too hard, there are a lot of things (chemically) that you can use. In the order of effectiveness:

    Dispersant
    Paraffin Lamp Oil
    Orange Oil based degreasers
    Alcohol

Dispersant and Lamp Oil, can attack the neoprene of the drum cleaning blade. In any case, you'll want to remove the drum from the cleaning unit before doing any cleaning. Then rinse away the oily cleaners with alcohol. Re-prime the cleaning blade.

The first few images may have washed out areas, but the cleaning blade acts as a squeegee, removing any remaining chemical residue.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Use a cue tip with small amt of "Goo Gone
Let it sit on spot for 10-15 min
Then try to remove with a dry cue tip.

If you are sure it isn't a knick then alcohol and soft cloth should be fine. If it is a knick there isn't anything you can do about it.
