[CQ] imagePRESS C800 - No yellow

Hello,

I'm getting no yellow at all.

New drum and dev, no yellow on drum, tried swapping dev motors but still the same.

I'm assuming laser, do they have shutters on this model?

Are you getting any alarm codes? If there is a issue with the laser the device will often give a alarm code for the color reg or gradation not able to be completed. The alarm codes only appear in service mode.

Thanks for that, I forgot about alarm codes! (Look after too many manufactures).

I'm going back tomorrow, will check then.

I'm getting error E029-7021-05 (yellow density error).

Have u Checked the wire harness for the registration patch read sensor assembly, & checked and cleaned the ITB assembly and primary transfer rollers. 😎

We face the same problem with cyan color with code e029-5021
The cause was worn out of gears in dev. stirring motor we replaced the motor and machine worked in fine.
