my ir5000i whenever it runs copy, it always have a printing smear or should i describe it as a cloud like horizontal line. It only appears in one part and sometimes it appears sometimes it doesnt. the cloud line is irregular in shape and it varies in shape. how wil i remove it?
I already cleaned the cleaning blade, I polished the drum, replaced all corona wires, drained the developer and clean them but still the cloud horizontal lines apears.. sometimes it doesnt..

Did you replace? meaning.. Did you put brand new primary, pre-transfer and transfer separation coronas ass'y, what about potential control? Whats the meter count? Is this a network printer or is this happening off the glass? if so, check the optics, if they are dirty clean them.

I'm a little unclear about the terminology. Is it a cloud or a line? Distinct or indistinct? Can you post a sample of the image quality problem? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Smear

Try replacing the developer roller. It may be shorting to the drum.

Try setting the fuzzy to 0 from service mode.
