    IR2200 Sys software

I saw a lot of info when I search this on the forum but not sure if I missed this, can you take a good HDD from one IR220 and put into another IR2200? It has a bad hard drive, code E602-003. Trying to avoid having to load the sys software? Plus not sure I have a computer with XP & parallel port. Remember loading the sys soft many moons ago and taking hours to load!

Trying to help out a good account that moved this copier out to warehouse office when I upgraded them several years ago. The girls in office begged me to get it working. Maybe just once I could be a hero

Yes you can swap one HDD to another machine without reloading the SSW.

You have to swap the boot rom if one is a 'C' & the other an 'N'

Thanks for the definitive answer as well as the boot rom info. Glad you were able to realize I meant from one 2200 to another. I wrote 220.

      Surprised I didn't get mugged for a typo. Ha-ha
