Canon IPF 755 Plotter Hardware Error 03130031-2618, I got this error then put a new printhead in and then "Right after power up got a "Need to change printhead" error. One thing I notice here is that there are large gaps of air by the printhead clear tubes. In the book it says to check the power supply unit. I am new to plotters and wanted to get a second opinion. So should I replace the Power Supply QK1-5141-000 ?. Thanks so much for any help !!!

Re: Canon IPF 755 Plotter Hardware Error 03130031-2618
For me, it was the printhead.
This is the advice I got here at Copytechnet:
VH high voltage error. In order of likelihood can be caused by the printhead (60%), main board (30%), head relay PWB/carriage relay PWB or ribbon cables (10%).
First replace print head (2251B003AC). Second check ribbon cables and connections. Third replace main board (QM3-3215-000). Fourth replace carriage assy (QM3-3330-000) or separately carriage relay PWB (QM3-3221-000) and head relay PWB (QM3-3229-000). Fifth replace carriage ribbon cable.

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
