[Error Code] E302-001 Canon Image Runner Advance 6075

    I am not a technician
    just an end user

My two Canon machines Ir advance 6075 have Error e302-001
Is there any way to resolve this problem
i just want to DE ACTIVATE the adf scanner
this machine has double sided scanner function
i don't really need this function
i already try to unplug the adf scanner unit, it gave error e280

    Please note
I want to use the Adf (automatic document feeder) just for one side
i don't want to spend money for the function (double side scan) that never be used

Why are you unplug the adf scanner? The double sided Will not active when it's not setting on

Most likely you just need to clean the optics.

But when i scan the document NOT using the adf, it doesn't error

what i mean "unplug the adf scanner"
i just unplug the scanner unit ini adf
        not the whole adf unit

          already clean the optics.
the last solution from my hired technician
          1. failure of the scanner unit (in adf unit), replace it cost me $ 110
          2. replace all the adf unit, replace it cost me $ 250

the scanner unit in adf, it just needed when scan two sided automatically
          i never used that function

Try updating the firmware & then run CCD adjust as per the service manual.

              Hello ,

When you set the Scan to Full Color Or Gray Scale it should work properly . Your Issue might be only on B/W Scanning.

The issue is not in the scanner unit , the issue is that when the scanner unit calibrates itself before starting the scan, the values are not in range which will lead to the error.

Remove the small glass at the left and clean the white section at the bottom of it. also you will need to remove the glass for the top scanner unit and also clean the white section .

A lot of paper dust in adf scanner will cause that.

my hired technician already did that
                  it didn't solve the problem

                  you're right..
                  i already knew that
so when i need to use the adf,
i use the scan and store function
and then i select full color or grayscale
i can use the adf, there is no error

the document is black and white, scan using full colour or grayscale
the scan result is not very good.

can you upload the picture, where to clean it
