    [CQ] iR-ADV 4735i w/ cheapo ADF

    Hi guys

I have two of these units, one is a 4735 and the other is a 4725 and they use the cheaper ADF (non-single pass) DADF BA-1 I think it is.

    Copy from glass is perfect

ADF has this weird wiggle in the scan. Seems like the paper is skewing and getting pinched somewhere but it's hard to detect which is a little surprising since it has basically no paper path and nothing to smash into.

One of these units is brand new.

    See samples

First page is off glass and seems fine.
    Second page is through ADF.

Is there a height adjustment for the left-hand side of the doc feeder.

On previous models, you had to set the platen cover
and the screw on the upper side of the adf.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Hey guys, turns out ADF was actually sitting quite high upon further inspection.

Lowered ADF then did some tweaking to adjust the small amount of skew.

        Seems fine now.

        Cheers
