Did you try changing the cyan drum. Also is the drum in lock position?

We've had 2880's do this...mostly on yellow and black...but each time it was the drum unit.

          1) Replacing the Develop Sleeve Clutch "CL2" (FM2-3581-000) in the field has resolved the issue.

          2) In this case the replacement of the sub PDRM-EF-A pcb resolved the issue. It was determined that it was the cause by following the steps below:
          1. Re-fit 2 main controller sub PDRM-EF-A PCBs
          2. If the symptom still occurs, interchange the upper and lower main controller sub PDRM-EF-A PCBs .
          3. If the combination of colors that causes the symptom changed from yellow and black to cyan and magenta, suspect a faulty main controller sub PDRM-EF-A PCB and replace the PCB with a new one.
          4. If the symptom does not change after Step2, replace the main controller PCB (main) with a new one.
          FM2-9163 Main Controller PCB Assembly
          FM2-9166 PDRM-EF-A PCB Assembly (S)

These are two cases in the field. Maybe this helps.

There is a problem with these machines on the toner shutters not opening correcly when you engage the process unit handle.....new modified rack. Machine should be giving you E-020 errors if a color is missing

                  The clutch fixed it?

Here are notes from the user guide regarding colors that might not be pick up WHEN USING THE FEEDER!

To remedy this problem here is a suggestion:

                  Service Mode>Level 2

                  Copier>Adjust>Misc>ACS-EN2 Set to +2 [Default is +1]

                  Copier>Adjust>Misc>ACS-CNT2 Set to +2 [Default is 0]
