Did anyone ever replace this part? I have one that has to be replaced and it seems that there is no easy way to do it. is there any way to do it with out taking off the box on the right side that holds the boards. to release the shaft?

Theres a gear on the end to take off so you have to take off the right side. I only did it once and it took a while. Not engineered very well. -
Did it once helping out one of my techs.Next time i told him to pack a lunch.Not the best thing to do in a customers office.Comment

These are definitely not tech friendly. Once it starts to makes noise like, grinding, wheezing, moaning and groaning, I tell the client to buy a new one. I got zero tolerance for this unit, the only thing i replace on this one, is the fixing ass'y.Comment

Thanks for the tips. I have a lot of theese machines out there. I guess Im going to have to tear this one down and try to learn how to do it then after a few times it might be easier. Thanks.Comment

Yah, while not an "easy" fix it isn't all that bad, really. I have one tech who likes to just cut the belt and remove it, but apparently only works if using letter size paper only. Also, I find breaking something to fix it is not fixing it at all.... Take a manual and you'll be fine.VectorLinux---Check it out!Comment
