    Canon IR2830 E000100-0001

I keep getting E000100-0001. Laser is fine and I replaced the DC Controller, any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Check the shutter mechanism sometimes it gets stuck.

That is the mechanism under the laser unit correct? If so it moves freely.

did u Re Flash the Dcon after replacing DC CONTROLLER ????

also did u remove or service the Registration Assembly/ if so check grounding tabs.

Check the H.V. Resistor contacts to make sure they are secured and not broken. Also check grounding plates on metal registration roller, only the operator side tab should be touching the roller and the non-operator side should be in contact with the upper guide plate.

Yes I did that also. But I just checked the shutter and even though it moves freely I think that is where the problem is. I moved it by hand when I hit the print button and noticed it hesitated just a little bit, but then I got copies out. So that is where the problem is at the moment. Thanks for the help and advice.

Exactly. if it hesitates remove it and check for broken pieces
Also check the leaf spring. Here's a shot.
