[CQ] Canon ir 2230 Latent Image (Trailing Edge)

It isn't apparent on regular 20lb 92 bright, but when using higher poundage stock it becomes apparent. If you were looking at a document (like a full page of 12pt font) after each row/sentance there is a latent image of clearly visible letters surrounded by a slight "halo" of toner.

The toner is fully fused to the paper.

This is what I have done so far...
Adjusted fuser speed and temp same affect
    Re Katun drum unit
Re Paper Transfer Roller (on the right door assy)
Re Katun drum unit again (because these Katun parts are known to be problematic)

    Adjusted:

Copier>ADJ>Developer>Devst from 0 to +115 (made it way worse)
Copier>ADJ>Developer>Devst from +115 to -115 (very light copies)
and finally put it back to OEM '0'

    I am drawing blanks here???
I know that there is a Katun Toner Recall for these devices - but the loy number installed in the mfd is not one of those affected.

    Any input is appreciated!

what wieght paper are you running on this device that is having this problem? If your plain paper is fine and the other paper is out of spec you could be chasing a non issue.

This machine isn't designed to run much over 32lb.

How many "miles" do you have on the fixing film? They normally wear out first at the front and rear of the fuser, and this can cause residual images, it might show sooner with heavier stock initially...
