Yes , it has a Q4 finisher and bridge unit , must admit I haven't tried without them on, there are no signs of any obstructions and both paper paths have been cleaned

Pop the plate off of the top of the right door and set Option>Acc>out-try to 1, restart copier, and choose that exit for paper. Run it that way to see what happens...

Check if the 1st paper delivery flapper is broken in the 2nd delivery frame assembly. The part, FL2-1212-030 can be seen in the image below.
                Flapper.jpg
part tends to break at the point where the solenoid actuates the flapper.

Go into service mode level 2 options, body and look for FXSP type of name, this is the fuser speed setting, set it to 3.

There's a canon fix for the IR35/4570. Use that. I've seen this before. It's in Service Mode>Copier>Option>Combo. It's complicated. 01042011614.jpg They all need to be set to '1'. ie 1, 2, 3, 1. 1,2,4,1,1. 1,2,5,1,1,1. 1,3,4,1,1,1,1. 1,3,5,1,1,1,1,1. Your display should look like my picture. Run a good hundred copies to make the machine reclibrate. Don't alter the fixing temp.
