    IR5570 "Original may not be scanned clearly........ Clean scanning glass."

    This message appears often when copying or scanning. The scanning glass is not dirty or worn. Have cleaned scanning glass, optics and document feeder rollers above scanning glass. Thx

    you need to go on the service machine and adjust the sensibilite of the sensor ... the sensor take a reference test still if you clean its not that like i said you need to chance the value

          I changed the DFDST-L1, L2 to 1 like you suggested and it seems to have worked. Thank you very much.

              Also, to get away from the annoying "Clean slit glass" warnings, you can go into Additional Functions>Copy Settings> 6th 0r 7th page and turn off the dirty slit glass notification...

                  Also in service mode...COPIER>OPTION>BODY...set DF-BLINE to 1 then reboot. This will disable edge emphasis when using doc feeder and reduce chances of lines when glass is dirty.
