    Canon iR3035, iR3030, 3045, 33530, 3570, 4570

Does anyone have any Idea how long is fuser FM2-1786-000 is typically good for on these machiens???

We are pretty good about replacing the entire unit and avoid rebuilding them. Some of these guys have been crapping out on us prematurely (we think)

    Thanks...

We have a customer with 23 of these models and were out there constantly replacing the films in the units. Then one of our
techs tried lowering the fusing temps on all the machines, it has been months now and we haven't had another fuser code.

Sounds about right... However, really do the entire unit just to eliminate any bugs that ussuallly occur when trying to replace certain parts in those assemblys. And we do that by experiance as we have gotten ourselves into a mess trying to do such things as replacing lamps and rollers in the parts... Thanks for the advise

it is best to rebuild the whole fuser Assembly .But after a few rebuilds you will notice the parts will not last their life.its best to change the unit at this stage

Maybe my fusers haven't had excessive count. My standard rebuild lasts 150 to 200k like clockwork. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
