[Jamming] Canon IR 4570 paper jam in fuser !!

I have problems with Canon model IR 4570.

I have changed the fusing film and mount the fusing into the machine but it keep jamming the paper just it passes the fusing unit.

I put the same fusing unit into a different machine but the same problem happened ( it jams just it passes the fusing unit).

I have changed the sensor that is in the fusing unit but the same problem.

Can anyone help me ?

Open again the fuser and inspect if you missing something.Check if pressure roller pressing fixing roller properly.

yes thank you i am checking right now,

but it passes the fusing and than jams the paper and only the paper sensor is the one that detects paper in and out am i right?

Wright.If you not have enough pressing between rollers,paper come to late to the sensor.Of course check sensor too.

maybe the two springs in the fusing unit are released?
is there any way to put them in original condition or to check if there are in the original position?

Hello,

i have checked the jam history and the jam code refers to a 0207 and i have seen that the PS13 sensor in the fixing unit has problems.
I have changed but same problem can anyone help is there anything else instead of the sensor PS13??

Reason for jam code 0207 can be bad presure roller bushing and changed film is result of that.

Did you clean off all the film lubricant and apply fresh new film lubricant? Yes it's important.

When I rebuild these fusers I do not turn the painted torx head screws. Then when you re-assemble no pressure adjustment is necessary. I suppose it's too late for that now. Did you count turns, or measure the distance from the screw head to the bracket beforehand? Both of these are rough measurements that can get you close. =^..^=

friends can u describe deeply where the paper location of jam ,check the paper size correctly ,try to use the bypass check if the same problem occur or try another cassette ,waiting ur reply

thanks for the reply. i actually cleaned off all the old lubrication but i had no other lubrication to apply so i put some fusing grease instead, maybe the lubrication is the cause of this?

when i turn the gears the fusing film rotates normally!

your paper stops in fuser ? or on exit ??

don't know about using fuser grease

The paper jams just it goes out of the fuser and when i check in the " jam log in service menu " it shows jam code 0207 that is the sensor PS13.

First off/ remove that crappy grease
second off/ add a wrap to the spring/
u probably have slow reaction of the flag/stuck out of position_( 02=paper present )
