    Try this:

From the right side of the copier, remove the large transfer belt assembly (I think you have to also remove a right side cover, and pull the fuser out from the left. Also, remove the drum units and toner units.) Once you have the large transfer belt out of the copier, set it up on it's side (be very careful with the belt...try not to touch it, or scratch it...it's fragile) remove 1 screw from each side and I believe a roller assembly will pivot inward allowing the belt to become very loose. Simply slide the belt off and then clean all of the rollers. You will see a build up of toner and dust and junk stuck to those rollers. Clean them all very good and also put a drop of oil on each of the bushings as you want that section to turn freely. Slip the belt back on, pivot the roller assembly and secure with the two screws. Put it back in the machine and there you go...perfect copies. From start to finish might take 1/2 hour or so the first time you do it. It should last for 250,000 or 350,000 copies. Hope that helps you, Jim in Delaware USA.

You have to remove the metal plates off the assembly first, remove 4 screws from each bracket on each side, pull the brackets outward to release the pins...then assembly will fold to remove belt...note the orientation of the belt(red mark on lip)...make sure that you center the belt on the drive rollers when installing
