    Canon IR-6000

Anyone know what would cause these marks on pages (see attachments)? Happening all the time printing or copying.

Removed process unit and everything looked good, including drum.

Stopped page mid-cycle and marks on copy before fuser.

Samples were run 11 x 8.5 with marks on edge of paper toward front of machine.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

      Hi,

If this happened after you cleaned the machine (and it was OK before) retrace what you did, remove & check any items you removed or cleaned. ------Especially developing unit

You've definitely got primary charge discharging somewhere it shouldn't. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the replies. It was doing this before I cleaned the machine. Customer called and said machine started doing it all of a sudden.

The major cause of this phenomena is the worn out spacers of the dev unit.I have encountered this problem many times and replacing the spacers has always solved it
