When u use the DADF for copying it's Reader (CIS) does not bring the paper to the glass for that Scanner (Glass Copies)

    Two completely different operations

The DADF scanner moves on two parallel rails. Just clean and lubricate them.

So I adj the belt and they did the scans with no problem...I went back to the shop and they called...now there is a difference: the doc scanned and went to the PC and then the error came up...same error.....?????

If it only occurs when scanning to pc....and as the paper is placed in the dadf when the start is pressed...it fails right then....so far after belt adjust it works ...not much adjust though

Re: canon ir 5075 error 0202 and 0101

    Error :
E202 - 0101 is indicated at power on.

The HP cannot be detected in the detection (outward) of the HP position of the backside reading glass (CIS).

The DADF controller drives M6 when necessary and moves the CIS glass. By executing such procedure, the DADF controller compares reflection data of the standard white plate position with that of the image scanning position, and executes the correction of shading and dirt detection.

    Workaround :
PLEASE READ ATTACHED TECHNICAL PUBLICATION (TP08-013) FIRST!

Verify the operation of M6 and PI13 and replace parts consequently.

[1] Check M6 in PART CHECK> MTR-CHK> 5 for operation and verify the connection of J214 on ADF Driver PCB (PCB7).
[2] Check for PI13 sensor state in service mode FEEDER>I/O > P006 - 6 (0:HP) and verify the connection of J412 on ADF Controller PCB (PCB1).

PI13 - CIS glass moving HP Sensor WG8-5593-000
    M6 - CIS glass moving motor FK2-3715-000
    PCB1 - ADF controller PCB FM3-0369-000

NOTE: Before you replacing the ADF Controller PCB (PCB1), print a P_PRINT and see the description given under "After Replacing the ADF Controller PCB" on the host machine service manual.

    CANON
Error code E202 is occurring intermittently.

    Workaround :
In this case, adjusting the drive belt tension for motor M6 in the DADF-S1 corrected the error. Note that M6 is the DADF-S1 CIS Glass shift motor.

    SEE IN ENGLISH---BELT TENSION .pdf

    Found some more issues>>>>>>>>
E202 0101 remained after following TP08 013 for belt adjustment procedure.

E202 0101 remained after replacing the CIS glass shift HP sensor, the glass shift motor and the ADF controller pcb.

    Solution :
Replacing the Driver PCB FM3-0371-000 in the DADF-T1 resolved the issue.

perfect...i see where the memory is down and under....never would have looked there...also on the belt adj, since the ins in chinese, why is the one picture showing fingures holding the black plastic cube and do you move the motor itself for tension
also i will reseat the mem first and see what happins before anything else...ok?

Also Teckat what do you think about the belt tension adj?
    Thanks

have only done a belt tension on
    iRC5185 DADF T1.
/works on that model/do not over tighten
