so I got the boards out but there doesnt seem to be a rom chip socketed on them to reseat.
Also Teckat what do you think about the belt tension adj?

Also where is this Rom board as my phones display is small and searching is challenging

That is how the error log showed it....person said it happens when scanning to email...puts paper in dadf presses start ...gets a click noise and the display says powering down...i have cleaned the feed ..dadf ..rollers

So the service manual says a scanner homing issue...all errors have been cleared..it seems to work but there must be an adjustment ...what could that be....thanks
