It has been found that replacing the front door switch can resolve the E244 code. Part # FG5-8045-000 -

The service modes are identical. The few differences I know of are:
1) NP6230 has a plastic bed assembly, NP6030 is metal. I have been told that the metal one can be substituted, but I've never tried it.
2) All the boards are different, of course.
3) The drum unit is slightly different. If you retain the original metal plate with the front drum pin, and install it on the other type drum unit, they can be interchanged in a pinch. (I used to carry two of each type, and I was always running out of one or the other)
4) The mag roller has a teflon coating which slows down the buildup of toner.
5) Toner cartridges are different, but I don't know about the contents (the actual toner may be the same).
6) On the NP6230 the transfer roller has a gear on it, NP6030 doesn't.
This only matters if you're running heavy paper or cardstock. With normal paper the 6030 roller will work on both. With cardstock use the 6230 roller.
Relatively minor differences really....

Yes. The NP6028 was never sold in the USA.

Manuals4you is not stupid. He has helped plenty of people on this forum. And from his posts, I find that he is more than willing to help all people. But he does have a right to make a living and he does that by providing manuals. So please understand if he gets upset, that is his right also. There are alot of people in this world who try to take advantage of you. I have looked at you posts and it does seem that you are always asking for manuals for free. You have that right.

Zaza may want free manuals, but is it right to blame him for his bad english. English is a very hard language to learn to speak, let alone write. We should always encourage others, not tear them down.
Also is it fair to say that just because someone may be Muslim, that they may be a terrorist. True, there are alot of terrorist who are Muslim, but on the other hand there are probably more Muslims, who are not terrorist.

i forgot to mention in my original post that manuals are copyrighted and you cant sell them electronically so you are breaking the law as well as thinking all arab/muslims are terrorists
