Does anyone know where we can get a service manual for a Canon Imageclass D1300? We have a customer that is getting Black pages and we need a service manual for this one...

Yes u have a CIS issue,
Leave up cover _ place a doc on glass_press copy & watch for CIS UNIT MOVEMENT & LIGHT Exposure.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There's a thin white strip on the right side of the page with uneven edges, but all of the other void areas that should be there are also completely black. One of our senior techs thinks it might be a ground problem with the toner cartridge.Comment

If you have any void at all, I suspect that the it is scanner related, but also that the image positioning and registration need to be adjusted to get the voids centered properly. Also the paper may be incorrectly positioned ... but none of that can be corrected until you get some of the original image. The contact image sensor is a good place to start. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
