Yesterday I could not spell "Konica", now I am a dealer, but I still can't spell... You goof, when you put a used device out for a customer, you say "your meter starts at 22,342 and you will be charged for every copy/print over this meter". Emujo

If you ask a crooked question you will get a crooked answer.

The plain and simple fact is you cannot reset the print counters on KonicaMinolta machines.

There is no procedure for it that I know of and even if I did I wouldn't tell anyone as I wish to keep my job!

          Time to end this thread?

No way, keep shaming him if he tries to justify his post...BTW, if you had led with "I want to put a used MFP out, but I don't want the customer to see the 500K clicks on the meter, can I hide this or reset it" you would still get the same answer, but we would have been a lot nicer about it. Emujo

PS I need to copy money, can someone tell me how to do it? LOL

just document the starting meter(s) we sell refurbs all the time and the starting meter is what it is.
                  use one of these

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                  The medication helps though...

                    Customer gets rental MFP.
Meter count is on delivery paper.
                    This is customers zero point.
                    From here we charge customer.
                    Whats the problem?

Dont let tecnicians and marketers discuss those stuff, tecnician will loose,
except he presents bulletin from manufacturer.
For extremly renitend marketers, konvert bulletin.pdf into bulletin.powerpoint. 😈

Since it is a used machine, Ethically it is not recommended to reset.
