Re: C224 reset tool
So just to be clear you are using the hidden usb behind the metal slider plate you need a screwdriver for?We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...Comment

yes, on that side or port I am putting my usb but it does not read it, also try in the port that is behind the control panel and it does not recognize it ... what suggestion can you give me to restart the Service Mode

Re: C224 reset tool
Turn copier off hold down panel reset turn Copier on when it prompts you enter 9272 4x it end now you're in service mode
Also the usb stick has to be 4gig or less and you have to take all the files out of the firmware folder and put them on the root of the usb drive.
Should have:
App
Bin
Fw
IPtables
Satafw
Work_fw
And about 40 0ther bin files.
That is what belongs on the root of a 4 series firmware.
The 8 series and up you just need the fw000x folder on the root.
Usb must also be formatted fat32 not fat or ntfs or ex-fat.
You won't need service mode to install firmware..
If you are using the reset file that's all that needs to be on the root of the usb.
4 gig drive or smaller.Last edited by Synthohol; 07-17-2019, 10:16 PM.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
