put the NVram in the microwave for exactly 34 seconds. that should do the trick
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

I drill (10) 3mm holes in the NVRAM. It allows the copies to leak out. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Try Dipswitch 40 bit 1 to 1 (ON) that should clear everything down for you.

                Better than using a microwave

WoW, what fantastic ideas we technicians have . It would be better to let this Gentleman know that it is unethical practice. It would be much better and helpful.

I'll have a guess here and say that these idiots know full well it's illegal, but why should that stop them ripping off a customer.

Besides, it's much more fun to offer 'alternative suggestions'

Perhaps he could ring Konica Minolta and ask them how to reset it, I'm sure they would help.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints
