BizHub C220 Firmware - How to Install?!

I found firmware for my "Olivetti d-Color MF220" which is the same thing as the Konica Minolta c220 for everyone else.

The latest firmware is the G00-C06 but How do I install it?

Here is what I have tried so far:
Step 1: Download file: A0ED0Y0-F000-G00-C6.exe
Step 2: Format 16GB USB2 Flash drive to FAT32
Step 3: Extract files from the .exe
Step 4: Copy the extracted files to USB
Step 5: Place the USB a the back of the printer and switch it on.
Step 6: .... nothing happens

Please Help.
I tried extracting files and placing the .exe file in the root directory, I also tried different firmware...

Use a flash drive 4GB or less. Copy and paste only the .tar file to the flash drive. Use service port behind small cover on right rear. Install with "main switch" off, then turn on. May take several mins for firmware screen to appear.

Yes assuming you have the correct firmware you simply put the .tar file onto a USB drive no larger than 2GB.

Also the version you have is outdated, GDH-D1 is the latest available.

On Step 5 you can not put in any USB on back.. Only on the hidden USB.

What do you mean the firmware cost money? Is someone trying to sell you Firmware on this website? No one should be charging for F/W or manuals!

Firstly, that is exactly what I was doing, and also what I mentioned in my post, but thanks for confirming.
Secondly, I disagree... there is a USB extension cable that runs from the back service port to the front user accessible port, that's the only difference. How that will affect data transfer I can not see possible. (I'm including a screenshot just to be clear)

Just registered to this site to write you a message.
Yesterday was trying to upgrade same firmware and had same issues.

There is a third USB port in the back behind the screw:

You have to insert the flash drive to that port when the main switch is off. Then turn the machine on and firmware upgrade will boot up.

The USB port on right side by control panel is for end user convenience to insert flash drive. This port can also be used to load "special" F/W but only movie, voice & OCR data. ALL other F/W has to be installed with port behind small cover. The reason there is a cover over port is because it is only for firmware.

Let me know if you need Konica Minolta F/W for FREE. I will only provide it to "long term" members of this site. I will not reply to anyone else or to anyone that sells F/W !!!

After the firmware installs, do you simply unplug the printer, or must you do something to shut down saftley?
