    Help C308

    Hello peoples!!

    If someone can help me in that case please!
    I want ask if there is some backup for the scan and box configuration ! Because in some case whene the HDD is formatted ! I will be forced to redo the configuration!

      You can export on the computer users, who scanning, and adress book from web browser with administrator login, but configuration of the scan etc. \\computer-PC\scan, i think that you cant.

      My costumers, not ask me that. Because, when I change the HDD, I must install movie file, and easy job is to configure scan.
      But I have from every costumer copy of adress book.
      And only Import adress book, and everything is working fine.

              set bit sw 72 to hex 04 and hit fix.
              no need to reboot, go into admin, external backup and copy all to a small flash drive.
              We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
              The medication helps though...

                  SW 72, hex 04 works for "cloning" machines, but I just found out today that I can't do that in the case of a C-D010 code. Couldn't access admin mode to export anything, so thankfully all they lost was one fax One Touch. Easily remedied, as long as someone knows the bloody fax number...

                  We had mass deployments a couple years back (when I was just the Shop Tech, doing setups all day), with deployment guides out the wazoo, and it was MUCH easier once we figured out the SW 72 hex 04 clone trick. It copied almost every one of the settings from the deployment guide over to each machine, once we got one configured. Lovely little trick.

                      isnt that code about the HDD and the need to the special upgrade to sata ver 4?
                      i have recovery FW if you ever need.
                      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

                              I've discovered & been advised by KM, thay when you use s/s 72 to back up to a USB, anything on the HDD isn't saved, I've also discovered that not all network settings are transferred either...
                              Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

                                  The only way to back up a KM HDD (to my knowledge) is the HDD backup plugin for PSDA. This takes many hours to run, and will backup everything in the user boxes. Emujo
