erro 2557 appeared I replaced developer and it is ok but message "add toner" appears .
I cecked and noticed tat toner adding module doesn't work . No gear is turning.
Few days ago it was working. I cecked cables and are ok.
Any idea?

There is a gear that breaks inside the sub hopper. Not a fun job to do. Easier to swap out the whole toner holder unit / hopper from a parts machine. If just buying parts to rebuild make sure parts are still available since this was deemed "end of life" a few yrs back.

you cant just replaced dev. you need to replace drum too. then reset counters turn machine off ck counters stayed 0. the run f8. . if you omly do dev and run f8 it will still code

If I understood correctly the 2557 code is gone and now add toner message won't go out because btl not turning?

Repair or replace 2 solenoids on toner hopper unit.
It is fun when you love jour job and know what to do!

If drum is OK let's say 50k and developer depleted you CAN just replace developer.
