load firmware on a USB stick
1. Insert the USB memory to the service port.
2. Turn on the Main Power SW, then the Firmware Download screen appears.
3. Touch [Machine Type Select] key on the panel.
4. Enter [Machine] and [Type] information, and then touch [Fix].
Check Service Manual for newer models being released.

5. Touch [OK].
6. Turn off the Main Power SW, then remove the USB memory.
7. Turn on the Main Power SW, then C-D390 is detected.
8. Let the machine to reboot by itself two times, then the Restore Data key appears on
the panel.
9. Touch the Restore data key to restore the data from SSD to MFP board.
10. Turn the main Power SW off and on.


UGGGH!!C280? was the wrong FW applied?
also reusing boards is a bad idea, the MFP or the PRCB could have failed.

im leaving the info above for any future 4 series that search for this code.

Just re-write the firmware with correct .tar file. Latest was D2 if memory serves me well.

It means wrong firmware.
