    Biz hub 223 with error C34223

    Did call yesterday on Bizhub 223 with error C3423. The heater lamp has one side with broken element. Is there anywhere a replacement lamp for this series machine as parts unavailable for fuser except for aftermarket rollers and thermistors. Please advise if there is a "fix" for this issue.

    in meantime i will see if I can locate a used unit online. your help is very much appreciated. frank/Action Photocopy

      I think the best that you can hope for, Frank, is that a member might have a corpse in the graveyard with your part still on it. I'd recommend posting the part number if there is a separate part number, or if not post a photo of the thing you desire. Perhaps you can work out an arrangement with that member.

      There aren't a lot of these machines around anymore, and very limited parts, so you might consider selling them something new. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Unfortunately, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and order a new fuser. We rebuild them as often as we can, but eventually the units we rebuild become too old and ordering a new one is the only alternative.

                  I hope that this not true. We still have alot of these out there. We have a hospital with about 30 of this family there. I order these fusers, developers, drums and transfer rollers all the time. I have not seen that they are not available, yet. The problem that we have is that this customer breaks the the exit actuator. Well I have two fusers on the shelf and one in may car.
