    c6500

    Hello everyone.

I was wonering if anyone knows a way to turn off malfunctions on a c6500. I realize that this is a huge no no but I need it to bail out a customer for 2 days till he gets his parts. I remember reading on here that someone had done this as a temporary fix but I read that a while ago and did not take note of it. Please help if possible.

    Thank you in advanced

    please be 100% specific.
different malfunctions are reset in different ways.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

        Problem
        C-280x, C-285x, C-286x or C-287x error codes.
        • C-2801 (Yellow)
        • C-2802 (Magenta)
        • C-2803 (Cyan)
        • C-2804 (Black)
        • C-2851 (Yellow)
        • C-2852 (Magenta)
        • C-2853 (Cyan)
        • C-2861 (Yellow)
        • C-2862 (Magenta)
        • C-2863 (Cyan)
        • C-2871 (Yellow)
        • C-2872 (Magenta)
        • C-2873 (Cyan)

        Solution
CAUSE: Gamma correction abnormality caused by poor patch creation on the image transfer belt.

SOLUTION: Check output test patterns for each color. Ensure that each color station is producing a good quality pattern free or bands, void lines, blotchiness or other abnormalities.

if the belt has no issues then vacuum all the misted toner in the entire process carriage and see if that helps
