Bizhub 552 scanning to server 2016

    Hello everyone. Quick question.

Is there special firmware for a bizhub 552 and c552 to scan to server 2016?

If so, which one is it?

    Thank you for your help!

That old machine does not support smb v2. Or ntlm v2.
Either use ftp or setup scanning on an old xp or 7 box.

It's a security risk but you can enable smb 1 or ntlm v1 on the server?

Maybe they can get a machine from this era?
The technology of the server OS has surpassed the copiers capabilities.
Not your fault. Nobody told them it was ok to upgrade a server with old ass copiers.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

Or use a linux box. Old dual core will do. Raspberry Pi glued to the side of the server.
            Just kidding.
            Whatever

Check with IT is this is OK to do, if they say no expain the C552 is no longer supported & explain their options.

Simplist option is to add a NAS drive or Win 7/10 PC to the network.

Did not even think about a NAS that could be a great option.
Never tried but do you think FTPS can be setup?
