Bird is called GDI test print and is found in utility>machine information>printer
As for Marketplace, when you do Initialize machine, Marketplace is gone.
I was afraid that it's like all modern stuff(flimsy, shiny, plastic, etc)...but machine is not too bad from first view. I like new Chromium browser. Fusers have to last like 30% more but I have my doubts for this belt over fusing pad system.

Has anybody found a way to change the copy defaults in the new style menus? I can only get it to stick in the classic style.

I am Still Learning on these new models. I need help from mac experts. I have a customer with several macs. One mac (majave) I set it up, put in the account track code and try to print. if you print a document on the computer, it prints. try to print from a web page, you get deleted due to error. Group authentication error. Right now i have the copier set for print without auth. but need to get him to print with his code.

Delivered and installed our first one(c300i) the other day. Seems like a nice design overall with Some nice little touches throughout. I kinda like that they made the admin screen the same as the pagescope screen. I'm sure by our 2nd or 3rd we do, sales will want it all defaulted to classic view.

There is new FW version released G00-45. About 10 out of 100 Fixed issues are for MarketPlace app.
For MarketPlace haters, bug should be fixed
"80. If Marketplace is uninstalled by using MarketPlace Installer, the Marketplace is not uninstalled and one additional icon isdisplayed on the Panel."

Set up a preset for the authentication settings and have the customer use the preset.

Sorry about my MAC stupidity. I don't understand how to set up a preset. He does have an account code and that what he wants to use.

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to test out account track on the new series yet but here's on a c654e for example.

Open a program like Google Chrome
File
Print
On the Print Preview Page look to the bottom left for "Print Using System Dialog"
Make Sure the Correct Copier is selected
Look for Drop down box around the middle of the page that is usually under Orientation
On the Drop Down box go to Output method
There is a checkbox for Account Track
Enter the Credentials and click the save setting checkbox
Look for the Drop Down box for Presets
Click on save current settings as preset and Name it

I would train your customer to keep selecting the presets, I don't know how to force a preset everytime it prints unfortunately

Is there a way to print the config and/or test page? I can not find it in either book nor when I was searching on the copier itself or did they remove that feature?

I do like this model. Just set up a couple of them. One thing that is annoying is that while it is at the main screen it will sit there and have 2 beeps about every minute? WHY??

I think all types of sounds on this machines are defaulted to ON, so I will go to [Accessibility] - [Sound Setting] and disable all non critical sounds.
